Before the establishment of Community Solutions, Jane worked in the community sector, advocating on behalf of environmental, consumer and women’s organisations. Jane has extensive experience in policy development in these areas and in campaign and organisational planning. She can also provide advice on community development, and media and communication strategies. Jane’s interests lie particularly in facilitation, mediation and planning for advocacy. She is experienced in working with different stakeholder groups to resolve disputes, and develop and implement multidisciplinary projects. |
The experience Judy gained in more than a decade of work as a research scientist has been applied to policy development, the preparation of analytical and policy papers and liaison with a diverse range of conservation and resource use interests. Many years working in a liaison position in Canberra and as Environmental Consultant to a Federal Environment Minister have ensured that Judy is very familiar with the federal public service and political processes. Judy’s interests lie particularly in natural resource management and bridging the gap between producers, scientists, governments and the community. |
